Geotherm assists local concrete suppliers in developing high-strength and low-strength concrete known as FTB™

FTB™ is used to encase and cover underground power cables and/or PVC/HDPE conduits that contain transmission or distribution cables. These materials exhibit superior thermal and mechanical performance compared to native soil and allow for higher ratings (Ampacity) of cables. The compressive strength can be designed to meet the specifications.

We have extensive experience in the design of these materials to satisfy specific project requirements. Compressive strength, slump, flow and most importantly the thermal characteristics are of prime interest.
